Alternatives to talk therapy

Exploring a Different Approach to Your Inner World

Some people have tried talk therapy and want to explore their emotional patterns in a different, more experiential way. Here's an honest look at what IFS-informed personal growth work is — and isn't.

Why some people look beyond talking about it

Talk therapy helps many people, and it may be exactly right for you. At the same time, some people find that understanding a pattern intellectually doesn't always change how it feels in the moment. They may want to explore self-awareness and relationship patterns from the inside — directly with the feelings and protective responses that show up.

IFS-informed parts work, inspired by the Internal Family Systems model, offers one such approach. Rather than analyzing a pattern from a distance, we turn toward the parts of you involved — with curiosity and compassion — and get to know what they're trying to do.

An honest note

I'm not a licensed therapist and I don't offer psychotherapy. These sessions don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions and aren't a replacement for therapy or medical care — you're welcome to do both. If you're in crisis, please call or text 988 (US) or contact local emergency services.

Parts work sessions online

I offer one-hour IFS-informed parts work sessions online, from Austin, Texas. Sessions can explore emotional patterns, inner conflict, self-criticism, and relationship challenges — at a pace that respects your readiness.

See what happens in a session or learn about relational awareness.

Is it a fit?

The free Curiosity Call is the easiest way to find out. It's an introductory conversation — not a full session or a therapy appointment — where you can ask questions and see how my approach feels.

Curious whether this work is a fit?

A free Curiosity Call is a relaxed introductory conversation — a chance to meet me, ask questions, and explore whether working together feels right. It isn't a full session or a therapy appointment. You'll find the current details on the booking page.
