Get Curious About the Parts of You That Are Trying to Help.

IFS-informed parts work offers a way to explore your inner experience with curiosity and compassion — getting to know the parts of you that react, protect, push, and hold back, rather than fighting them.

Parts you might recognize

Many of our reactions make more sense when we see them as parts of us doing their best to help — even when their strategies feel outdated or painful. Here are a few common examples:

  • A part that wants to be liked — and a part that wants to withdraw.
  • A critical inner voice that seems to be trying to prevent mistakes.
  • Conflicting desires around closeness, independence, or change.
  • Emotional responses that feel difficult to understand.
  • Protective patterns that once served a purpose but may no longer feel helpful.

Every person is different. This work doesn't diagnose anything, and it can't promise that a particular pattern will change — it offers a space to understand what's happening with more care.

The process

What happens in a session?

  1. 1

We begin with a brief conversation about what's present for you.

  2. 2

We identify a feeling, situation, inner conflict, or pattern you'd like to explore.

  3. 3

We approach the relevant inner experience with curiosity.

  4. 4

We explore what emerges while respecting your pace and capacity.

  5. 5

We close with time to reflect and reorient.

Sessions are individualized, and we don't force a predetermined agenda. You keep your agency the whole way through.

There's no requirement to disclose trauma, revisit painful memories, or push beyond your comfort level. You can pause, slow down, or change direction at any time.

Beyond talking about it

When understanding your patterns hasn't changed how they feel

Sometimes we can explain a pattern perfectly — where it came from, why it happens — and still find ourselves caught in it. IFS-informed parts work offers a more experiential way in: turning toward protective responses, conflicting feelings, and emotional patterns as they show up, with curiosity and compassion.

You're welcome here if:

  • You've tried therapy and want to explore another approach.
  • You understand your patterns intellectually but still struggle to respond differently.
  • You want a more experiential approach to self-awareness.
  • You're curious about Internal Family Systems and parts work.
  • You want to understand recurring emotional or relationship challenges.

This isn't a replacement for therapy or mental health treatment, and it isn't "better" than therapy — it's a different kind of personal growth support. Read more about how parts work differs from talk therapy.

Fees & booking

Let's talk about what fits

Every person's circumstances and needs are different. During a free Curiosity Call, we can discuss what you're looking for, whether my approach feels like a fit, and the available options for working together.

Curious whether this work is a fit?

A free Curiosity Call is a relaxed introductory conversation — a chance to meet me, ask questions, and explore whether working together feels right. It isn't a full session or a therapy appointment. You'll find the current details on the booking page.
